SAN DIEGO SUNROAD BOAT SHOW SAILS BACK INTO SAN DIEGO BAY,

JAN. 23-26 2014   *SHOW EXPANDED BY 20%*

SAN DIEGO, CA. January 2, 2014– The San Diego Sunroad Boat Show sails back to San Diego this January 23-26, 2014 for the fifth year. Hosted at the newly rennovated Sunroad Resort Marina on Harbor Island, the annual tradition will feature land and in-water exhibits for boaters of every age. This year, the boat show has expanded by 20% and debuts several new boat lines, making it bigger and better than ever. It might be winter now but it is always summer on the Bay!

The San Diego Sunroad Boat Show will be expanding this year with an in-water display of more than 125 new and pre-cruised sailboats and motor yachts, starting at 25-feet up to 90-feet. There is a boat for every budget at the show. Attendees will also be able to enjoy free boat rides – free sailing lessons by Seaforth Boat Rentals and free rides on an 18-foot electric boat.

In addition to the tremendous boats, will also be a plethora of marine vendors and electronics with the latest nautical products and services, live music, as well as food and beverages for attendees to enjoy a day on San Diego Bay. Families of all ages are welcome on the bay with new kid pool activities including toy boats, balloons, face painting and much more! A variety of seminars will also take place throughout the weekend.  

Earlier this year, the Sunroad Resort Marina underwent a $500,000 renovation, elevating the marina and boating experience. Attendees coming to the 2014 show will be able to, in addition to the boat show, explore and enjoy the enhanced marina.

Show hours are: Thursday, January 23 from noon to 6 p.m., Friday, January 24 from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, January 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Sunroad Resort Marina is located downtown at 955 Harbor Island across from the airport. General parking is located at the corner of Harbor Dr. and Harbor Island Dr., shuttle service is included.

Entrance fees are as follows: $12.00 for adults, with children under 12 free. Military, EMTs, Police and Fire personnel are FREE on Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 with ID.

MILITARY, EMT’s, POLICE AND FIRE PERSONNEL GET FREE ADMISSION  TO THE EXPANDED SAN DIEGO SUNROAD BOAT SHOW   

 January 23 & 24, 2014 - SAN DIEGO, CA. (December 26, 2013) – The San Diego Sunroad Boat Show sails back to San Diego this January 23-26, 2014 and extends a special invitation to Military, EMTs, Police and Fire personnel who will receive FREE admission to the show on Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 (with ID). Hosted at the newly rennovated Sunroad Resort Marina on Harbor Island, the annual tradition will feature land and in-water exhibits for boaters of every age. It’s a party on San Diego Bay!

The San Diego Sunroad Boat Show will be 20% larger this year with an in-water display of more than 125 new and pre-cruised sailboats and motor yachts starting at 25-feet up to 95-feet, and will also be debuting 3-4 new boat lines. There is a boat for every budget at the show. Attendees will also be able to enjoy free boat rides – free sailing lessons by Seaforth Boat Rentals and free rides on an 18-foot electric boat. In addition, the San Diego Sunroad Boat Show is the ultimate family-friendly show with fun activities for all ages, include face painting, balloons, and a shallow pool area for kids to play with their own toy boats and let their boating imaginations run free!
